Jobs: Channel Marketing Manager

Urban Mapping, a leading provider of hosted mapping solutions, seeks a Channel Marketing Manager to develop, enable, promote and drive sales of Mapfluence across industry segments via indirect channels. Your passion, instinct and previous marketing experience in B2B will be critical enablers to success.

Responsibilities

  • Channel evangelist: advocate for the channel at product development and launch meetings, for developing rollout plans for channel partners and sales tools/enablement training and resources.
  • Collect and assess market data, competitive insight and partner feedback to help definer partner portfolio and selection of best fit channels
  • Identify and develop strategies to improve penetration and performance in existing global channels
  • Define product packaging, pricing and margin strategy in conjunction with product management
  • Lead the development of demand generation activities, campaigns and promotions to drive traffic to channel partners and stimulate partner loyalty and sales
  • Support channel partners through development of sales collateral, best practices, training, etc.
  • Drive the development and execution of marketing plans with key global partners
  • Collaborate with Marketing Director and CTO to define user/customer requirements and the “purchase cycle”
  • Identify opportunities for lead generation and marketing collateral (eg, email campaigns, case studies, data sheets, product tours, whitepapers, FAQ, feature or benefit sheets)

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of high-tech products and/or services marketing experience (preferably in channel marketing, product marketing and/or B2B communications)
  • Demonstrated success in the development of marketing programs
  • Proven track record in leading and working effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, finance, and senior management
  • Strong writing skills are a must; exceptional verbal communication skills and organizational skills also imperative
  • Should be an expert in forwarding thinking, market research, and should possess problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to listen to intended details attentively.
  • Excellent analytical and presentation skills including demonstration skills to handle many assignments simultaneously.
